Dr. Stephanie Bendall, DVM
Dr. Stephanie Bendall is our Lead Veterinarian and Owner of Ridge Large Animal Veterinary Services.
She began her career working as an associate veterinarian for the practice in 2015 upon graduating from the University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine and eventually took ownership in 2022. Since day one, Dr. Stephanie has worked diligently and passionately to service both clients and patients alike. Her special interest in internal medicine comes from a life long ambition to care for animals and today she is proud to provide a wide variety of services including: General Equine and Bovine medicine, Beef Cattle Herd Health management, Equine Dentistry and full service veterinary care for goats, sheep and swine. Dr. Stephanie is also proud to serve our community by offering a 24/7 emergency service for patients requiring after hours care.

Always striving to learn and develop her skills, Dr Stephanie attended the Academy of Equine Dentistry in Idaho in 2016. Since then, providing excellent dental care has proven to be one of her many specialties. Stephanie is married to Craig Bendall, a golf professional and CoOwner of the practice. Stephanie and Craig have two charming sons, Oliver and Louis and recently welcomed their beautiful daughter, Eleanor into their world. Dr. Bendall enjoys riding horses; spending time with family and friends; weekend travel excursions; and clay shooting with Craig. Living on a small farm in Sebring, FL. Stephanie also loves caring for and spending time with her own animals.
Dr. Harrell Phillips III, DVM
Harrell Phillips III, DVM, is a second-generation large animal veterinarian and a fourth-generation cattle producers.
He grew up in north-central Florida on a commercial cattle operation and worked closely with his father, also a large veterinarian, throughout his childhood and into college. Having experienced all
sections of the beef cattle industry, from cow-calf to stocker to feed yard, Harrell focused his veterinary education around livestock. Dr. Phillips double-majored in Animal Sciences and Agricultural Operations Management at the University of Florida before attending Kansas State University for veterinary school. He graduated from K-State in 2025 and started with the practice that same year.
Dr. Phillips has a passion for production agriculture and enjoys epidemiology and
herd health, reproduction, and anesthesia. He maintains an active involvement in industry organizations such as the Florida Cattlemen’s Association, Academy of Veterinary Consultants, and AVMA. Harrell enjoys fishing, boating, and spending time with his wife and frequent assistant Jessica. They live in Avon Park, FL, and together love spending time on the road visiting ranches and caring for patients.
Craig
Craig Bendall is a PGA golf professional with over 15 years of experience in the industry, spanning coaching, golf course operations, and course design and renovation. Throughout his career, he developed strong leadership, management, and organizational skills that have become the foundation of his professional approach.
In a new chapter, Craig partnered with his wife, Dr. Bendall, to transition into the veterinary industry. Together, they own and operate a successful family-run large animal veterinary practice, where Craig applies his extensive experience to the business and operational side of the clinic. His passion for growth, teamwork, and delivering high standards continues to drive the success of their practice.

Born and raised in Bradenton, Fl., Peggy has carried a lifelong connection to community and people.
